As if sky diving wasn’t risky enough, this nail-biting footage shows the moment a brave woman dangles from an upside-down plane before dropping 4,500 feet. The video, which was captured in southern California, shows the woman in the cockpit of a biplane as the pilot manoeuvres to invert the aircraft.

The unidentified woman described the feeling as being ‘light as a feather’ as she floats out of the cockpit and onto the wing of the upside-down plane before letting go and plummeting to the ground below. After performing the daring stunt, she can be seen deploying her parachute and landing safely. The video, which was shot on April 1st, shows the lady step out onto the wing at around 4500 feet. ‘The pilot shook the wings and that was the signal to stand up and hold on,’ she said. The woman described the unexpected feeling she felt of getting out of the cockpit at that height.

‘The pilot inverted the aircraft and since he had manoeuvered the way he did it caused us to have zero gravity, instead of being whipped out of the aircraft, I became completely weightless,’ she explained. ‘It was zero gravity, I floated out of my seat and became light as a feather, such an amazing feeling. ‘You can only be upside down for 2 seconds because the airplane engine doesn’t work upside down and the plane becomes a brick and starts to fall towards the earth so, whoops back to reality and time to give a rock on hand signal holding on with one hand and let go. The video then shows her deploy her parachute and land safely on the ground.
