Thug repeatedly punches bus driver as he DRAGS him out of the vehicle in a brutal attack

A Dublin bus driver was savagely attacked in front of horrified passengers as he sat behind the wheel. Shocked commuters screamed and cried out for help as the driver was punched repeatedly in the head. The fracas was caught on camera and shows the attacker talking to the bus driver before launching the harrowing attack.





The clip begins with the man dressed in a tracksuit and black baseball cap, aggressively pleading with driver. It appears the driver says ‘no’ before the thug launches a series on punches as passengers scream ‘oh my god’. The driver appears to tell the man ‘good luck pal’ before the brutal attack aboard the double decker 184 bus.



Passengers then come forward to assist the driver, and pin down the attacker on the pavement outside the bus. A Dublin Bus spokesperson said: ‘This incident took place on Friday 4 May at approximately 15.00 on Route 184 travelling towards Newtownmountkennedy. ‘An Garda Siochana attended the scene and CCTV footage from the bus has been downloaded and made available to them.’



Gardai spokesperson said: ‘Gardaí are investigating an assault on a bus driver at Lower Kindlestown Road, Greystones on the May 4 2018 at 3.20pm.
